 Re: General OOC
I guess Gicker will have to grant access when he's awake.
Once you get in, remember to fill in the stats for your PC.

 Re: General OOC
On that note:
Gicker, I've edited the 'Ins' column to 'SM', since PF uses Sense Motive, not Insight. Also, I think a CMD column should be added, but i didn't want to do that in case it messes with any scripts in your tracker.
By the by, may want to remove the script to show 'bloodied' since PF doesn't use that status. Maybe 'wounded' or 'injured'.

 Re: General OOC
Is Nathaniel's current turn complete?
It seems to be missing a summary line for the damage etc.
and possible effect from the rolls?

 Re: General OOC
Ark, how come your synthesis can make 4 attacks (without haste)? when fused with your eidolon, you use the eidolon's BAB, which only has 1 main attack (minus claws and natural attacks etc), unlike the summoner's x2 attacks.

 Re: General OOC
All GMs I have played with and several guides have all stated that Synthesists get multiple attacks from their BAB- I've never considered that gaining the Eidolon's BAB might mean you only gain a single attack.
Are you certain you aren't confused with how a high BAB does not give multiple attacks to NATURAL attacks, but it might with weapon/melee attacks?
I'll start researching looking for some information in the issue now.

 Re: General OOC
This is a monster from the bestiary. It is an Outsider, like the eidolon, and has a BAB of 10+, and it is listed as having multiple attacks with decreasing attack roll bonuses as per the rules for PCs http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monste ... vanic-devaI think that confirms that synthesist just can't use BAB to give multiple attacks to natural attacks, not melee attacks? Here's another one. http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monste ... il/beardedHope this is right, otherwise I might have to reconsider my class a bit

 Re: General OOC
I'm not that familiar with PF, but when i read the description for synthesis, it said: " The synthesist uses the eidolon’s base attack bonus..." and "The synthesist and eidolon cannot take separate actions." So i understood that you can't make weapon attacks as a summoner AND natural attacks as an eidolon at the same time But like I said, I'm not that familiar with the system, so more than willing to be wrong about it though

 Re: General OOC
This is out of my depth honestly. I was just curious how the multiple weapon attacks and the natural attacks could go together - thought maybe i could do something for my monk

 Re: General OOC
From what I can gather you could stack both- Synthesist has a fixed limit on natural attacks not melee ones, so with the right combinations you could quite effectively swing your blade while scratching, biting, pincering and stinging

Found a FAQ here: http://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1fz#v5748eaic9obeSeems like you can - just need enough arms.

 Re: General OOC
Hey- Are we meant to be posting in initiative order, or just in random order and the GM sorts it out when our turn finishes?

 Re: General OOC
Gicker wrote: Also for the newcomers, ark and gan, we are using a combat method cvalled initiative blocks. This basically means that if all party members go together that have rolled higher than the first monster. Go in any order you want, as soon or late as you want to post. Once all those party members have gone, the monster with the highest initiative will go.
For example: Player A: 20 Player B: 18 Player C: 17 Monster A: 15 Player D: 12
Players A, B, C can go in any order. Once they have all gone, monster A will go. Then player D goes. Once player D goes, a new round starts, and PLayers A, B, C can go in any order.
We have found this helps combat move faster and works rather well for play by posts.

 Re: General OOC
As far as the synthesist attacks goes, if other GMs let you do it we will allow it as well, until such time as I have time to properly research it and make a decision myself. It doesn't seems grossly overpowered compared to everyone else's damage, so I am inclined to say it's legit.
